Celebrating our 10th Anniversary!

HELP US fulfill Antietam Valley Community Partnership’s (AVCP) mission to better our community.

The Antietam Valley Community Partnership (AVCP), a 501(c)(3) organization, will once again host this 700-participant tasting event, which has grown into a regional favorite. CCBWA is now seeking sponsor partners for our community fundraiser for the fall. Revenue for this event will raise funds for community programs to carry on AVCP’s wider mission of improving the quality of life within the Antietam Valley.

To date, CCBWA has raised over $80,000 towards the restoration and renovations in our community’s beloved Carsonia Park. Also, the net profits from the CCBWA and proceeds from other fundraising events provide funds to allow AVCP to create and support various community activities including scholarships for local high school graduates, summer movies at the A-field, holiday food distribution to Antietam School District families, the annual holiday tree lighting ceremony and special donations to other charitable organizations in our community.

Where and When does the event take place?

The event is held at The Reading Liederkranz.

Doors and food vendors open at 12:00 PM

Where can I buy tickets?

Tickets go on sale August 1! Buy your tickets early — we have sold out every year prior to the gates opening! All tickets include admission to the event, tasting pint glass, and unlimited tastings. All attendees must show valid photo ID for admission.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

This is a 21+ event only. No children, no pets.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Shuttle pick-up and drop-off parking is available at the Antietam Valley Pool parking lot.

Rules & Regulations

  • 21+ Only. No exceptions.
  • No children or pets allowed.
  • All attendees must show valid photo I.D. for admission. Proper identification is the responsibility of the attendee. Failure to present proper, valid photo identification (driver’s license or passport) will result in denial of entry with no refund offered.
  • Don’t drink and drive! Take public transportation or designate a driver.
  • Promotional photos and video will be taken at the event and you grant permission for your likeness to be used.
  • Drink responsibly. Know your limits.
  • This is a sampling event; 2oz. pours for beer and 1oz. for wine
  • All attendees must be properly attired.
  • We reserve the right to check all bags.  No large bags or backpacks allowed.
  • No outside glassware or food permitted.
  • We reserve the right, at our discretion, to remove any individual(s) from the festival for behaving inappropriately. You will be escorted out by security and not allowed back in.
  • All exits are final. No alcohol permitted outside the event.

 

Health guidelines

CCBWA is following all current CDC regulations for outdoor events. If you are experiencing any of the following, we ask that you please stay home if:

  • You are showing signs of COVID-19
  • You have COVID-19 test results pending
  • You are under a healthcare provider’s care for a positive COVID-19 test
  • You have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 (unless fully vaccinated)
